BOSTON -- With Daisuke Matsuzaka on the disabled list with tightness in his right forearm, the Red Sox will need to make a roster move for a starting pitcher.

According to a source, the Red Sox will call up lefty Felix Doubront to start on Friday against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Fenway Park. Doubront, 22, is 2-1 with a 1.08 ERA in four starts for Triple-A Pawtucket. He began the season with Double-A Portland and posted a 4-0 record with a 2.51 ERA in eight starts for the Sea Dogs.

Red Sox manager Terry Francona said during his pregame media scrum that his starter for Friday is still "TBA."

"It's not going to be a bullpen day, but we'll make an announcement when it's appropriate," Francona said. "It won't be Billy Hall."
