WALTHAM, Mass. -- Boston Celtics forward Shaquille O'Neal, who has missed the last two games with a calf injury, did not participate in practice on Tuesday and spent most of his morning in the weight room. He remains questionable for Wednesday's game against the Knicks.
O'Neal has had lingering soreness in his calf from a collision with Amare Stoudemire the first time the Celtics and Knicks met in Boston this season in late October.
O'Neal said before hitting the weight room Tuesday that he's "doing better," according to The Associated Press.
The Knicks, who have won their last eight games, trail the 19-4 Celtics by just four games in the Atlantic Division.
