Former Boston College quarterback Dominique Davis said Monday he will transfer to East Carolina.

Davis will have two years of eligibility after transferring from Fort Scott Community College in Kansas.

"It's the best fit for me and the best offense for me," Davis said. "I've watched Patrick Pinkney play and I'd like to keep it going."

Davis said he's recently spoken with former Boston College players Josh Haden and Justin Tuggle, who have also decided to leave the Eagles program.

"I told them to keep their heads up," Davis said. "Every situation isn't for every person. I still watch all the games on Saturday. There's still some Eagle in me."
