Patriots wide receiver Joey Galloway did not accompany the team on the trip to Denver. As was the case last week, Galloway will be inactive for Sunday's game even though he is healthy.
Galloway is a vested veteran, meaning his salary for the season became guaranteed once he made the opening-day roster. Therefore, according to a Patriots source, the team is unlikely to simply release the receiver unless it becomes necessary to use his roster spot for another player.
"I think he will be OK," the source said. "This is just part of the Patriot maturation process."
