MLB fines Cubs pitcher Lilly $1,500

Major League Baseball has fined Chicago Cubs pitcher Ted Lilly $1,500 for confronting home plate umpire Bob Davidson on Monday.

Lilly wasn't pitching Monday against the Pittsburgh Pirates, but he argued a strike call from the dugout during the fifth inning at Wrigley Field. After the inning, Lilly was ejected and went on the field to confront Davidson.
