Error costs Bandits

Akron's Jenny Topping broke a scoreless tie with a two-run homer in the top of the ninth one batter after Chicago's Nicole Trimboli dropped a fly ball that would have ended the inning, and the Racers went on to beat the Bandits 3-0 on Saturday night.

The Bandits couldn't score with a bases-loaded opportunity in the first and Jamie Schloredt was doubled off of first in the second as Akron's Brittany Weil cruised.
