Bears' Kreutz had procedure on Achilles

CHICAGO -- Bears' center Olin Kreutz underwent a procedure Tuesday to remove a bone spur that was causing discomfort to one of his Achilles tendons, Kreutz's agent Mark Bartelstein told ESPNChicago.com.

"This occurred after years and years of pounding on Olin's body, but of course he wasn't going to say anything," Bartelstein said. "There was absolutely no cutting of the Achilles. Imagine walking around with a rock in your shoe that kept rubbing against your heel, it's very painful. ...
