Keith wins defenseman award

LAS VEGAS -- Duncan Keith of the Chicago Blackhawks has won the Norris Trophy, given to the NHL's top defenseman.

Keith beat the Los Angeles Kings' Drew Doughty and Washington Capitals' Mike Green for the award Wednesday at the NHL Awards ceremony in Las Vegas.

Keith was second among defenders with a career-high 69 points. He also set career highs with 14 goals, 55 assists. He was second to Green among defensemen in points and assists.
