Major Wright injured during practice

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- Chicago Bears rookie safety Major Wright injured a groin muscle attempting to change direction and locate a deflected Jay Cutler pass during a full team drill on Monday.

Wright, the Bears' top draft choice in April, appeared to lose his footing and almost ended up doing the splits. He then gingerly jogged off the field to receive treatment from the teams' training staff and remained out for the rest of the workout.
