Chicago Fire's C.J. Brown to retire

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. -- Chicago Fire defender C.J. Brown, who has played in every season for the organization, is officially announcing his retirement Thursday, the team confirmed.

He is available for the team as it travels to Los Angeles to face Chivas USA this Saturday to close out the 2010 MLS season.
