QB Dayne Crist suffers injury

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame quarterback Dayne Crist will miss the remainder of the season with a ruptured patella tendon in his left knee, according to NBC Sports.

Irish coach Brian Kelly said after the game that while the injury is serious, Crist's status is still unknown.

"I don't know for sure. I haven't gotten anything yet," Kelly said. "I believe ... the first report I got was a bruised knee then it was something with his patella tendon. I'll have to get more information before ...
