Brian Campbell makes season debut

NEW YORK -- The Chicago Blackhawks have activated defenseman Brian Campbell, and placed center Dave Bolland on injured reserve.

Campbell made his season debut Monday against the New York Rangers.

He was in the Blackhawks' starting lineup alongside defense partner Duncan Keith, last season's Norris Trophy winner as the NHL's top defenseman.

Campbell missed all 13 games this season while recovering from a right knee injury suffered during the preseason.
