Jake Peavy optimistic after start

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Despite getting knocked around a bit by the San Diego Padres and the obvious fatigue that set in near the end of his outing Monday, Jake Peavy remained optimistic.

The White Sox right-hander gave up three runs on six hits over four innings while throwing 69 pitches (49 for strikes) and insists that he really can be ready to break camp in the starting rotation.
