White Sox put Mark Teahen on DL

CHICAGO -- The White Sox placed Mark Teahen on the 15-day disabled list, but the much-anticipated move to recall red-hot Dayan Viciedo from Triple-A Charlotte was not made.

Instead, the White Sox replaced Teahen on the roster with third baseman Dallas McPherson, who had a solid spring and was batting .305 with nine doubles, three home runs and 18 RBIs in 31 games with the Knights.
