Paul Konerko gets wrist procedure

Chicago White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko underwent a minor medical procedure to dislodge a loose fragment from his left wrist on Friday at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

Konerko had been expected to be available to come off the bench in Friday's 6-4 win against the Detroit Tigers, but never entered the game.
