Brian Urlacher touts Plaxico Burress

CHICAGO -- Brian Urlacher said he would welcome Plaxico Burress on the Chicago Bears, and he didn't envision how the move would generate any negative energy in the locker room.

Burress, 33, last played in August, 2008. He served nearly two years for carrying an unlicensed gun after accidentally shooting himself in the thigh. He'll be a free agent when the NFL labor problems are resolved.
