Chicago Cubs left-hander John Grabow received a cortisone shot in his left knee on Saturday, and manager Lou Piniella said he could be ready to pitch on Tuesday.

Grabow complained about trouble pushing off the rubber because of soreness in the knee, according to Piniella. He was sent to Chicago from Cincinnati on Saturday and an MRI showed no damage.

Grabow is 0-2 with a 9.26 ERA.
