Guillen: Sox parade bigger than Hawks'
But Guillen insisted that the Sox's parade after they won the 2005 World Series eclipsed the Hawks' celebration on Friday.
"Way bigger. Ours was better," Guillen said. "We had people all the way from the ballpark [U.S. Cellular Field] to downtown. They didn't have that. Ours was bigger, no doubt."
But Guillen loved the idea of the Hawks winning, and what it means to Chicago fans.
"Winning is the best thing in the world when it comes to chemistry," Guillen said. "Everybody loves each other when you win. I got tears in my eyes when I saw the kid [Patrick Kane] score the winning goal.
"When I saw that, I got a flashback. I know how they feel and how they love each other. How they feel they're the best. There's nothing better than winning, especially in Chicago."
