The procession will wind its way south on Michigan Ave., turning around in front of Tribune Tower, which is the home of WGN Radio. Santo was a Cubs color commentator following his days as an All-Star third baseman. The funeral procession then will head north and do a lap around Wrigley Field.
Funeral services on Friday will begin at 10 a.m. CT and have limited public seating. Cubs chairman Tom Ricketts, Major League Baseball commissioner Bud Selig and Cubs play-by-play man Pat Hughes will deliver eulogies.
Public visitation at Holy Name will be on Thursday from 4-11 p.m. CT. Because the church must close its doors by midnight, fans are asked to be in line by 11 p.m. CT to ensure they will gain entrance. The line for fans will begin on State Street and head north toward Chicago Ave.
