CHICAGO -- Guard Derrick Rose is back for the Bulls after suffering a rib injury early in Tuesday's game against the Lakers.
The second-year point guard strained his left rib midway through the first quarter, but returned to the lineup midway through the second. Rose has 12 points and three assists on the night.

Earlier, television reports said he strained his left rib, and his return was questionable.
Rose appeared to suffer the injury after going up for a layup. He ran down the court in apparent distress and was taken to the locker room after calling a timeout. He was shown kneeling in front of the Bulls' bench.
