Even with the reigning rookie of the year, the Chicago Bulls' chances of breaking a streak of 11 seasons without an All-Star took a hit Thursday when the fourth returns of the voting were released.

Derrick Rose ranks sixth among guards. He trails Dwyane Wade, Allen Iverson, Vince Carter, Ray Allen and Gilbert Arenas. The top two vote-getters will start the All-Star Game at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Feb. 14. Coaches pick the reserves.

Joakim Noah, a candidate for most improved player this season, is a major longshot, not even ranking in the top 11 among forwards.

Rose will defend his skills challenge title during All-Star weekend. He won the event last season in Phoenix.

Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers and Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets lead the Western Conference voting. LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Wade of the Miami Heat lead the Eastern Conference.

The starters will be announced Jan. 21. Paper balloting ends Jan. 10, while wireless balloting and voting on NBA.com continue until Jan. 18.
