Houston Rockets assistant coach Elston Turner told Houston's KRIV-TV that he will interview with the Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers about their head coaching positions.

Turner said he'll be in Philadelphia on Friday, but no date has been set to talk to the Bulls.

Turner joined Rick Adelman's staff in Houston three years ago after being Adelman's assistant in Sacramento. He also was an assistant in Portland.

He played for the Bulls from 1986 to 1988.

The Associated Press contributed information to this report.
