The Golden State Warriors continue to add to their backcourt depth, reaching terms on a new deal Tuesday with free-agent guard Jannero Pargo.

Pargo's agent, Mark Bartelstein, told ESPN.com that his client will receive a two-year deal worth $2.4 million.

The Warriors have been looking for backups to starting point guard Stephen Curry since deciding last week not to match an offer sheet from the Chicago Bulls to guard C.J. Watson.

Watson wound up joining the Bulls in a sign-and-trade with Golden State, which has responded by adding Pargo and summer-league sensation Jeremy Lin -- who grew up a Warriors fan in Palo Alto, Calif. -- to its roster.

Pargo, who will be 31 before next season, played for Chicago last season after earlier stints with the Hornets, Bulls, Raptors and Lakers.
