CHICAGO -- Chicago Bulls forward Carlos Boozer missed his second consecutive game with a sprained ankle Tuesday night when the Bulls lost, 83-82, to the Charlotte Bobcats.

Boozer injured the ankle in the final seconds of the Bulls' 96-93 win over the Miami Heat on Saturday.

"[Boozer is] just day to day," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said before Tuesday's game. "[The ankle is] better today than it was [Monday], but not quite there yet."

Boozer also missed Monday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

"Once [athletic trainer] Fred [Tedeschi] clears him, he'll be back out there," Thibodeau said. "Just want to be smart about it and make sure he's completely healthy."

The ankle had improved by Monday morning, and Boozer was listed as day to day, but it apparently wasn't good enough for him to face the Bobcats.
