Chicago Bulls center Omer Asik suffered a left leg sprain in the third quarter and did not return to Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Miami Heat.

Asik appeared to come down on teammate Derrick Rose's foot. Asik motioned to the Bulls bench to come out of the game. Once he got to the bench, he went to the locker room with the medical staff.

Asik, a rookie out of Turkey, is averaging 2.5 points and 2 rebounds in 14 minutes a game against the Heat in the series.

The Heat won, 96-85, to take a 2-1 series lead.
