Former Loyola coach Jim Whitesell will join the Saint Louis staff as an assistant, according to multiple sources.

Whitesell will replace former Saint Louis assistant Porter Moser on the Billikens staff. Coincidentally, Moser was hired as Loyola's head coach after Whitesell was fired in March.

Whitesell spent seven seasons at Loyola and compiled a 109-107 record with the Ramblers. He also was the head coach at Division II Lewis for 12 seasons and Division III Elmhurst for five seasons.
