Annual football game at Wrigley Field?
Chicago Cubs chairman Tom Ricketts said if he had his way, the Illinois-Northwestern football game at Wrigley Field on Saturday would be an annual event.

Others have varied opinions.
"Why don't you ask me that on Saturday or Sunday," Fitzgerald said after Wednesday's practice. "I don't know, it's been a lot of fun to this point. I'm just appreciative of our administration handling all the logistics. We're just going to show up and play."
Fitzgerald was apprehensive about giving up a home game at Ryan Field. While Northwestern was given 30,000 tickets to the game, Illinois' fans are expected to be out in full force in Wrigleyville.
"For the uniqueness and opportunity our guys get, the answer is [yes that it's worth playing at Wrigley,]" he said. "But I want to play at home. This is our home field, play in front of our students and fans here."
Northwestern athletic director Jim Phillips had a similar answer.
"I'm not sure," Phillips said. "We really wanted to do this. The game's not over, and we haven't come to the end to really assess what we liked and what we didn't like. To call it an annual event is premature."
Northwestern defensive tackle Corbin Bryant didn't need to see Saturday's result to know his answer.
"Definitely," Bryant said. "It would be great for the fans, great for us to be able to play in that stadium every year that some of the greats have played in."
