Havlat was on the ice Tuesday morning at the beginning of the Hawks' optional skate.

Quenneville was short when asked about his winger, but he said Havlat won't be limited.

Havlat was hit awkwardly along the boards in Game 1 on Sunday and missed practice on Monday. He was seen Monday in Joe Louis Arena walking with a limp.

Star blue-liner Duncan Keith, key forward Patrick Sharp and checking center Samuel Pahlsson were among other notables who didn't skate Tuesday morning.

"We had an optional skate today," said Quenneville. "We had six or seven guys who didn't skate. Don't read into it at all."
