CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks recalled goaltender Corey Crawford from Rockford of the AHL.

Crawford was 24-16-2 for the IceHogs and appeared in one game for the Blackhawks this season. He played in four Calder Cup playoff games with the IceHogs, posting a 3.61 goals-against average and an .871 save percentage during the club's 4-0 series loss to the Texas Stars in the West Division semifinal.

Crawford was the Blackhawks' second choice (52nd overall) in the 2003 draft.

The Blackhawks play the Nashville Predators in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series at 2 p.m. local time Saturday. The series is tied 2-2.
