Illini one of final three for Randle

Rock Island point guard Chasson Randle narrowed his college choices to Illinois, Purdue and Stanford on Tuesday, according to his AAU coach Mike Mullins.

Randle, a 6-2 guard, is ranked the 38th top prospect in the Class of 2011 by ESPN Scouts, Inc., and the sixth best point guard.

Randle averaged 19.4 points and 7.6 rebounds during his junior high school season.
