East Aurora senior point guard Ryan Boatright has decommitted from West Virginia just days after holding a news conference to announce his decision, according to multiple reports.
The 5-foot-11 Boatright, an ESPNU 100 prospect, chose West Virginia on Monday. He explained then he had decided on the Mountaineers because of coach Bob Huggins' reputation of winning and using guards of his size.
Boatright was an ESPNChicago.com All-Area selection last season after averaging 26 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals.
Boatright committed to USC as a eighth grader, but backed out of it when coach Tim Floyd left the program.
