Andre Deveaux's 3 goals lift Wolves

After suffering through a seven-game skid, the Chicago Wolves have now won two straight. Led by Andre Deveaux's hat trick, the Wolves (8-11-1-0) beat the visiting Lake Erie Monsters 5-2 on Sunday.

Forwards Darren Haydar and Spencer Machacek also scored for Chicago.

"They are a really good checking team and we knew it wasn't going to be easy," said Wolves head coach Don Lever. "But we dug down in the trenches there in the third period and got a big goal from Deveaux. It's nice to see that line contributing."

Wolves goaltender Peter Mannino (3-3-0) made 33 saves en route to his second straight win.

Chicago will remain at home, hosting the Monsters in a rematch on Tuesday.
