"I am extremely disappointed in the actions of our three student-athletes," Southern Illinois athletic director Mario Moccia said in a statement. "The incident will be reviewed by the university judicial process, and we will not discuss specifics until that process is complete."
Cleveland, a starter, is averaging 3.5 points and 2.2 assists per game. Teague, also a starter, is averaging 9.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. Long is averaging 3.4 points per game.
The suspensions add to what's already been a trying season for the Salukis. They are 10-13 overall and 4-8 in the Missouri Valley and are coming off a 21-point loss to Drake and a 17-point loss to Evansville. Southern Illinois hosts Bradley on Saturday.
