Montray Clemons, a senior from Evelyn Mack Academy in Charlotte, N.C., has committed to DePaul, according to a source.

Clemons, a 6-8, 220-pound power forward, chose DePaul over interest from Alabama, Illinois, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech, among other schools.

Clemons is from Baltimore and played on the same AAU team as DePaul freshman forward Cleveland Melvin. Clemons is DePaul's seventh recruit in its Class of 2011. The Blue Demons' class includes high school seniors Macari Brooks, Jamee Crockett, Shane Larkin, Charles McKinney and Derrell Robertson, and Miami redshirt freshman transfer Donnavan Kirk.
