CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bears spent Tuesday interviewing Mike DeBord for their vacant tight end coaching position.
DeBord coached tight ends last season with the Seattle Seahawks, and spent the 2008 season serving as their offensive line assistant.
Before entering the NFL, DeBord spent 20-plus seasons at the college level, including two separate stops at the University of Michigan. DeBord was also the head coach at Central Michigan from 2000-03.
The Bears are still trying to fill three coaching slots (coordinator, tight ends, quarterbacks) on the offensive side of the ball.
