LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Bears filled out their practice squad Monday by adding former Miami Dolphins linebacker J.D. Folsom, a seventh-round pick in the 2009 draft.
Folsom played in two games for the Dolphins last season, contributing one tackle on special teams.
A former Weber State standout, Folsom was waived by the Dolphins last year on Sept. 5, before joining the practice squad a day later. The Dolphins activated Folsom on Nov. 8, and waived him again 13 days later, then signed him to the practice squad again on Nov. 18.
The Dolphins placed Folsom on the active roster again on Jan. 2.
