Sources: Major Wright to miss games
Having suffered a hamstring strain Sunday while chasing down Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant during a punt return, Wright was evaluated by team medical personnel upon the team's return before receiving the latest prognosis.
Sources said it could take up to a month for Wright's hamstring to heal, but he's not likely to be placed on season-ending injured reserve. For now, there isn't any need to make roster moves to fill Wright's spot.
The latest setback follows a series of misfortune for Wright, the club's top pick in the 2010 draft. Wright strained a groin muscle early in camp, which forced him to miss time. Shortly after, Wright broke his left index finger during his NFL debut in the preseason at San Diego.

Wright's injury further delays his ascension into the Bears' starting lineup, which was likely the club's plan for him in recent weeks. In the opener against Detroit, the club already had begun rotating Wright with veteran free safety Chris Harris.
The plan going into the Cowboys game was to give Wright even more snaps, but the hamstring injury prevented that.
