LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa returned to the practice field in limited fashion Thursday, the first time the veteran has tested out his right knee since undergoing a scope on December 3.

Tinoisamoa's status for Monday night's game against the Minnesota Vikings remains up in the air, but the linebacker continues to make steady progress and hopes to have a better idea regarding his availability later in the week. There is a chance outdoor elements and a potentially frozen TCF Bank Stadium field will play a factor in whether Tinoisamoa is active versus Minnesota.

Meanwhile, Charles Tillman was the only player to skip practice Thursday with a foot injury, even though the cornerback told reporters earlier in the day he made it through the Patriots game relatively unscathed.

"I walked off the field and finished the game fine," Tillman said before practice. "No injuries, I'm good. I was just sore, [but] I'm good. I'm walking fine and everything is good."

Running back Chester Taylor also was listed as having limited participation.
