MINNEAPOLIS -- First, Jay Cutler. Then, Matt Forte. Finally, Brian Urlacher.
The Chicago Bears stopped their five-game losing streak at the end of this what-could-have-been season, but even this victory was plenty painful.Charles Tillman's interception return in the second quarter gave the Bears the lead for good in a 17-13 victory over the Vikings on Sunday despite 3 1/2 of Minnesota's seven sacks by Jared Allen and a late injury to Urlacher, the soul of Chicago's defense.More Bears-Vikings Coverage

Research Notes
Josh McCown was 10-16 for 101 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings when Minnesota sent four or fewer pass rushers. McCown was sacked twice on his 20 dropbacks against a standard four-man pass rush. However, McCown was sacked five times on his 15 dropbacks against five or more pass rushers (including all 3.5 of Jared Allen's sacks), and threw his only interception against added pressure. |
