VANCOUVER -- The Chicago Blackhawks will start Cristobal Huet in net on Tuesday against the Edmonton Oilers, snapping Antti Niemi's string of starts at two.

Niemi was pulled after the first period of Saturday's 5-1 loss in Vancouver. The Hawks were trailing 3-0 at the time.

"We let Antti play in back-to-back games based on how well he was playing," Hawks coach Joel Quenneville said Monday after practice. "Huet got a chance to play in the last game, and we look forward to him getting back in.

"We're comfortable with that."

"Of course I was a little upset [at the situation Saturday], because you don't want to get pulled," Niemi said. "You don't have your best game when you get pulled, obviously, so yeah, a little bit upset."

Dave Bolland is scheduled to join the team in Edmonton and begin practicing with them on Tuesday.
