Burish expected back for Game 2
CHICAGO -- Joel Quenneville was playing it coy about lineup changes when he addressed the media after Monday's Chicago Blackhawks morning practice.
"We'll see," Quenneville said. "We could make some changes."
If morning drills were any indication, Quenneville doesn't have any changes in mind. The Hawks lined up as they did on Saturday but at this time of year, the less revealed to an opponent, the better.
"Gamesmanship" is the word winger Adam Burish used.
A source said on Sunday that Burish would return to the lineup after sitting Game 1 out.
"I can't talk about that. I'll get a spanking," Burish joked.
If Burish plays it would automatically change the forward lines but to what degree remains to be seen. The Hawks are 3-0 this postseason with Burish in the lineup. They are 1-3 without him.
The Blackhawks trail the Vancouver Canucks 1-0 in their best-of-seven Western Conference semifinal series. Game 2 is 8 p.m. CT Monday.
