The singer whose voice is blasted over the United Center speakers after every Chicago Blackhawks goal is coming to Chicago.

Jon Fratelli, who sings the Blackhawks' adopted anthem "Chelsea Dagger," will perform with his band at Metro on Clark St. on Sunday during Game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals.

The venue is hosting an event called "Slapshot Sunday" and will televise the game on its big screen.

The Blackhawks would have a chance to clinch the Cup on Sunday against the Philadelphia Flyers if they win Friday in Philadelphia.

Fratelli, who lives in Glasgow, Scotland, is lead singer of "The Fratellis," who are currently not performing together. He now performs with his own band.

Reached by phone Thursday afternoon, Fratelli said he was contacted by WXRT-FM 93.1 around a week ago and was asked about coming to Chicago. He hasn't been contacted by the Blackhawks.

Fratelli's stay will be short -- he said he's leaving for Chicago on Saturday night and will return home Monday.

Free vouchers for the event can be downloaded at 93XRT.com.
