CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks will receive their Stanley Cup rings at a private gathering Wednesday, a person familiar with the event said.

Adam Burish and Kris Versteeg are expected to be the only former Blackhawk in attendance, as the Toronto Maple Leafs are allowing him to attend, the source said.

The Stanley Cup, recently engraved with the names of players and key members of the organization, also will be at the event. Versteeg's name originally was misspelled on the Cup, but was quickly corrected.

Former general manager and senior adviser Dale Tallon's name also is on the Cup. Tallon is currently GM of the Florida Panthers.
