FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith is nursing a finger injury on his right hand, according to a person familiar with the situation.

Keith blocked a shot in the third period of Saturday night's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs and missed the final 15:34, though he was on the bench until the final horn.

It's suspected Keith could have a fracture but the extent of the injury is still being determined.

He is expected to play Tuesday against the Florida Panthers.
