CHICAGO -- Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Sharp returned from injury to face the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday night. Sharp chipped in an assist as the Blackhawks won 4-3.

Sharp missed the Hawks' last seven games after injuring his left knee when he collided with a player while attempting a shot against the Phoenix Coyotes on March 23.

Sharp skated twice in the past two days but had not practiced with the team since getting injured. The Hawks had scored just 13 goals in the seven games he was absent.

Quenneville also said winger Troy Brouwer is day to day after suffering a right shoulder injury in the Hawks' 2-1 overtime loss to Montreal on Tuesday.
