Dave Juday

A 15-year veteran of the Chicago radio scene, Dave currently serves as afternoon-drive SportsCenter anchor, and is also the play-by-play voice of UIC basketball games on ESPN 1000. Dave previously co-hosted Talkin' Baseball with Bruce Levine and also was involved with ESPN 1000's Chicago Marathon coverage from 2002-2005. He is a three-time Best Sportscaster finalist for the Chicago AIR Awards.

For the past seven college football seasons, Dave has appeared on ESPN 1000's sister station, 890-AM WLS, serving as scoreboard anchor and on-site reporter for their Notre Dame pre and post game shows. He also continues to host the Jack Swarbrick Show on WLS, a one-hour conversation with Notre Dame's Athletic Director which airs at 5 a.m. on Saturdays.

After graduating Butler University in 1994, Dave worked for a year and a half at WNDE-AM 1260 in Indianapolis. While at WNDE, he served as morning drive and midday sports anchor, as well as the beat reporter for the Indianapolis Colts. He also hosted and produced Colts Weekly and Pacers Weekly. In January 1996, Dave left WNDE to join WMVP-AM 1000 in Chicago. There he handled weeknight sport reports, plus fill-in hosting duties on the Chicago White Sox Radio Network. He was also a fill-in co-host for SportsLine, a nightly talk show.

A Chicago area native, Dave grew up in LaGrange Park and attended Lyons Township High School. It was there that he began his broadcasting career, serving as Sports Director of the school's radio station, WLTL-FM.

Dave and his wife Theresa currently reside in southwest suburban Bolingbrook. They have two beautiful sports-loving daughters, Tia (12) and Calleigh (8).
