  • First industry job was working as a producer for Don Wade and Roma on WLS radio (Jan '98-April '99)
  • Began working at ESPN 1000 in Dec '98
  • Did overnight sportscenter updates on the weekends
  • In June '99 started reporting and doing weekend and weeknight updates
  • From '01-'05 was part of the Chicago Bulls flagship broadcasts handling pre and post game duties
  • Bears beat reporter for the 2004 Bears season
  • Hosted Bears NFL Gameday during the 2004 and 2005 seasons
  • Co-host of the Carmen & Jurko show, weekdays 10a-2pm on ESPN Chicago 1000.
  • Has spent time covering all Chicago sports, including Cubs, White Sox, Hawks, Bears, Bulls and college athletics.
  • Most unique sports experience was celebrating a White Sox world championship at the team hotel in Houston, after game 4 win in Oct. '05.
  • Favorite teams are White Sox, Bears, Bulls and Hawks.
  • Personal interests include movies, reading, traveling and playing sports.
  • I had a pet chameleon once but it died a long time ago.
