Is Cooper still bound for Illini?

Proviso East senior safety Corey Cooper has all but been committed to Illinois since his sophomore year.

He verbally committed to the Illini in April 2008, but he has kept his options open since with a several schools interested.

Cooper will finally make a decision during national signing day on Wednesday when he announces his destination and signs his letter of intent at 9 a.m. at Proviso East High School.

Cooper, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound safety, is expected to choose between Arizona, Illinois, Nebraska and Notre Dame.
