Iowa freshman guard Cully Payne and Hawkeyes recruit Ben Brust, a Mundelein senior, have yet to make a decision about their collegiate futures following Monday's firing of coach Todd Lickliter, according to their former Rising Stars AAU coach Mike Weinstein.

"Both are excited about Iowa basketball, but both have to wait and see how this turns out," Weinstein said.

Payne, a Schaumburg graduate, was Iowa's starting point guard this season and averaged 8.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists. He had a career-high five 3-pointers and 25 points in the Hawkeyes' loss to Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament.

Brust, a 6-foot-2 guard, was named to the ESPNChicago.com all-area team after averaging 25 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals this season for Mundelein.
