Classic Daytona 500

ESPN Classic will celebrate the Daytona 500 on Saturday with an entire day of classic drivers and races. From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET, Richard Petty, David Pearson, Cale Yarborough, Darrell Waltrip, the Allison's and Dale Earnhardt will be among the drivers competing in some of the greatest "Super Bowl" of NASCAR races. Here's our Classic Daytona 500 schedule

10 a.m. - 1976 Daytona 500
The race boils down to a final lap duel between David Pearson and Richard Petty in which the two crash on the last lap. Pearson manages to limp across the finish line, and helps put NASCAR in the spotlight. The telecast marks the first time ABC showed the finish live.
